WeLiveInBeijing.com is a social community aiming to make people's stay in Beijing more social. Students, expats and locals in Beijing can connect, share and browse photos, events, groups, blog about their stay, contribute content and lots more.

The idea of working with communities started with Bloc.no which Joakim Rangel, Ole Marius- and his twin brother Kent Løset started in 2004 as a hobby project. As the user mass increased, Bloc went commercial which demanded a better solution to handle future growth. In Q4 2006, they started developing a new social community platform for own as well as other communities. In 2008, they spontaneously decided to move to Beijing.
